Antique Anglo-Indian Campaign Chest. This antique chest of drawers (Circa 1870) was made in India in the traditional style of campaign (transportable/ dismantlable) furniture of the period. It is made of solid rosewood (Dalbergia Sissoo) and inlaid with brass wirework, inset brass handles and brass escutcheons on the drawers. It comes into 2 sections which makes it a lot easier to move into homes with narrow halls or stairways. The depth of 36 cm also means it can be used as a cabinet in most entry areas. 95 cm tall 88 cm wide 36 cm deep
