Description
Victorian oak desk with a green leather top, fitted with 9 drawers on one side, 3 drawers and 2 doors on the reverse.
Made in England in the late 1800’s, this desk has been faithfully restored in the traditional method. The original polish has been kept as a base but a coat of new French polish has been added to give depth to the timber. Our wax finish removes the glossy ‘new’ look and softens the overall appearance. All drawers and doors open and run smoothly. The brass handles have also been polished.
The top section of the desk is removed from the 2 banks of drawers for transportation purposes, which also means it can be moved into most homes.
