Australian Art Deco hat & coat stand, finished in Queensland walnut.
It has a 4-sided column with 8 chrome hooks, a square, stepped base and ‘Empire State’ style supports/buttresses for the column. Genuine Art Deco, freestanding coat stands are very difficult to find and this is a great example, especially being an Australian made piece.
Provenance: This coat stand was once the property of Penfolds Wines and the asset number label is still attached on the base.
